The therapeutic performing arts centre aims to provide a space for recreation and relaxation through nature and music. To achieve that, nature and greeneries brought in to the space, and outdoor spaces are maximized to allow users to embrace the nature.

The main design strategy are the 3 planes of hexagon, inclined inward and outward and also the perpendicular plane. The planes provide different experiences when users engage with it,sense of being sheltered, shaded or protected somehow resembled the ‘cave’ concept, where ancient human and animal seek cave for refugee when being injured or hurt.

The main programme spaces are theatre, box office, studio and music spa. The lane reserve are made commercially viable by placing the 2 main progamme spaces, theatre and box office at the sides. Commercial programmes are designed to have double frontage for exposure and users’ convenience. Timber louvers are use as facade to allow users enjoy view in the interior at the same time maintaining their privacy.
